Edwards was transferred to Garterville from her position in the State Capitol about three months ago. Since then she's been in a living hell. Edwards has been a cop long eough to have seen corruption, but she's never seen it in the scale at which it exists in Garterville. She has reason to suspect it's far worse and goes to depths she's never dreamed. As such, Edwards has been playing dumb and living up to the expectations the redneck assholes who surround her have of women in general. They're already suspicious of her; she's certain she'd be rubbed out if they ever caught her gathering evidence or even had good reason to suspect.

It's not like she's been able to collect evidence anyhow. Due to the fact that the rest of the department are too busy collecting graft and screwing around, the real duties of keeping order and doing policework fall upon Edwards. Because she's been too busy doing all their jobs for them, she's been too busy to spy-- which, she suspects, is just how the Sheriff likes it.

In the meantime, she'll do the best job she can at keeping order.

Edwards has a rangy, athletic build. She keeps her blonde hair bobbed but still vaguely feminine. She's capable of being very charming; she's tough but attractive.
