Justin Newport has serves as consultant for the business aspect of the "Summer of Lovecraft" project. He wrote the project's business plan as a part of co-writing the pitch package with Ethan.

Background
Another denizen of the greater Santa Cruz area, Justin and Zac met while they were both going to Cabrillo College. Justin and Zac ended up fighting for the same unit in the Society for Creative Anachronism (SCA) events and developed a friendship that continues to this day. Justin is also an enthusiast for all things geeky. His movie collection rivals Ethan's, while his collection of game books and pulp sci-fi novels daily threatens to burst out of the garage and engulf the rest of the house in a titanic nerdsplosion. Justin is an avid motorcycle enthusiast and rockets off in a random direction two or three times a month.

College
Justin decided to attend California State University, Monterey Bay when he heard Zac was transferring there. Instead of pursuing an artistic or intellectual field, Justin "turned to the dark side": he enrolled in the business program. It was through Zac he met Ethan, and they developed their friendship via the campus café and the weekly gaming session held at Justin's apartment.

Career
A newcomer to the film industry, Justin nevertheless has a keen mind for organization and analysis. served in the Army National Guard for the past decade. He is soon to be re-deployed to Iraq for his secound tour-of-duty. Justin is currently pursuing an MBA between tours in the Army National Guard.
